Auditing and Assurance (Adv Cert)

The Advanced Certificate in Auditing and Assurance equips individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully conduct and perform the external and internal audit function in the evolving complex field of professional accounting. The Advanced Certificate program consists of critical learning areas that provide students with an understanding of auditing theory as well as assurance practices. Technology and data analytics are integrated elements in the curriculum. The program focuses on providing assurance on core business processes in risk management and governance as well as educating students in the subject matter of audit committee responsibility. Courses also provide coverage of quality assurance, control self-assessment tools, strategic organizational risks evaluation and data analysis. 

The certificate requires 15 credits.
