Students should select an internship based on their area of interest and their professional goals. SOCI 4999, when offered as a summer internship course, may also fulfill this requirement.
With permission from the director, the Urban Studies internship tutorial (URST 4800 Urban Studies Internship or URST 4999 Tutorial) or an equivalent internship course in political science, economics, sociology, or environmental studies may be used as a substitute for SOCI 4902.

Any course with the URST subject code or the URST attribute code may fulfill this requirement.
Availability
The minor in urban studies is available at Fordham College at Rose Hill and Fordham College at Lincoln Center. Students in Fordham's School of Professional Studies may minor in urban studies only if they receive the approval of their advising dean and/or department, and their schedules are sufficiently flexible to permit them to take day courses at the Rose Hill or Lincoln Center campuses.
