Higher Education Opportunity Program
The purpose of the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) is to provide students who demonstrate potential for academic success with the educational supportive services and supplementary financial assistance they need to become successful college students.
Applicants must be residents of New York State, possess a high school diploma or an equivalent, and show potential for success in college. All students accepted by HEOP are required to attend a special summer program prior to the beginning of their first year.
