Real Estate Major

In cooperation with the Fordham Real Estate Institute, the bachelor's degree in real estate for adult students focuses on real-world, professional practices with a foundation in real estate law, economics, accounting, finance, investment, valuation, development, construction, and management. Through this comprehensive real estate curriculum, Fordham's adult students develop the knowledge base and professional skills required for career advancement and achievement in a global real estate environment.

Our small class sizes, engaged faculty, and career and learning resources at the Lincoln Center and Westchester campus locations provide each student with the academic tools and flexibility necessary for success in today's real estate industry.

The real estate major consists of three prerequisite courses, six core real estate courses, and elective courses, several of which also satisfy requirements of the Fordham University Core Curriculum. Students complete their major with elective courses in real estate.
