Graduate Study

Fordham College at Rose Hill and Fordham College at Lincoln Center make an effort to acquaint students with opportunities for study beyond the baccalaureate level. Students who show special promise in scholarship are encouraged to give serious consideration to graduate study after completion of their college program. At the beginning of junior year, qualified students should consult the appropriate adviser in their major department.

Most Arts and Sciences departments with a master's degree program offer accelerated master's programs, whereby accepted undergraduate students can begin taking graduate courses in their senior year. These graduate courses apply to both the bachelor's and master's degrees.

In addition, Fordham College seniors are allowed to register for courses in Fordham's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Seniors with an index of at least 3.000 may register for courses offered by their major department. Students wishing to take graduate courses must get permission from the department and the dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, then contact their class dean to be registered.
