SSCI 2767. First Seminar: Mod Soc Prob. (3 Credits)
A seminar for freshamn, using heavy emphasis on writing and discussion. This scourse focuses on contemporary social problems from a sociological and psycho-social perspective. Emphasis will be placed on functioncal and interactional and conflict theories for causes and solutions of problems.

SSCI 4665. Career Management/Internship. (4 Credits)
This course focuses on theory of management and sociology of complex organizations reflected in internships or internship-experiences in job settings. Topics include staff development, ethics, corporate cultures, leadership, and stress management. For seniors only (90+ credits). Four-credit courses that meet for 150 minutes per week require three additional hours of class preparation per week on the part of the student in lieu of an additional hour of formal instruction.
SSCI 4999. Tutorial in Social Science. (1 to 4 Credits)
Supervised individual study. Provides an opportunity for students to work closely with an individual faculty member on a specific project of research and/or study and analysis.
